Home Monitoring Core
The continuous home-monitoring layer. Wearable data, caregiver input, daily activity, sleep and behavioural trends come together into one longitudinal view of how someone is doing at home.
Digital Health · Software only
HugBrAIn is a software-only digital health platform that helps clinicians and caregivers follow dementia and Parkinson's patients at home — through longitudinal behavioural, functional and physiological data, without proprietary hardware.
Designed for clinical pilots, care homes, research partners and scalable digital health programs.
What is HugBrAIn?
A software-only digital health platform for continuous home monitoring of people living with dementia and Parkinson's. It combines wearable data, caregiver input, digital biomarkers and clinician dashboards to support earlier recognition of functional, behavioural and physiological changes.
Who is it for?
Clinics, care homes and RSA, neurologists, geriatricians, caregivers, research partners and digital health pilots — anyone who needs continuity of observation between in-person visits.
What makes it different?
No proprietary hardware, modular deployment, longitudinal multimodal data, a caregiver-clinician bridge and a privacy-by-design architecture.
The problem
Dementia and Parkinson's progress silently at home. Clinicians see snapshots every few months; caregivers carry the weight alone; early changes in behaviour, function and daily routine go unrecorded until a crisis forces a hospital admission.
The solution · IoT + AI
HugBrAIn turns everyday data from devices people already own into a longitudinal picture. Behavioural, functional and physiological signals are followed over time, so meaningful change shows up as a trend for clinician review — not as an emergency.
The platform
Clinically-informed, evidence-based modules — designed to work together.
The continuous home-monitoring layer. Wearable data, caregiver input, daily activity, sleep and behavioural trends come together into one longitudinal view of how someone is doing at home.
Follow function, mobility, fall risk and motor progression through evidence-based exercises guided by computer vision. The focus is the outcome: keeping people active and flagging meaningful change.
Speech and language patterns, together with cognitive-engagement activities, can support cognitive monitoring and clinician review over time — a gentle, repeatable signal of change.
Caregiver burden tracking, risk trend indicators, longitudinal reports and a clinician dashboard for shared decisions. The bridge that makes the whole platform usable for families and care teams.
HugBrAIn is not a diagnostic device. It is designed to support clinical decision-making under clinician oversight, for clinical pilots and research use.
Grounded in research
HugBrAIn's approach was shaped by an analysis of the needs of over 12,000 people, differentiated by age and sex, and informed by the scientific literature on digital and vocal biomarkers in neurodegenerative disease.
Note: the figures above are results reported in the cited literature and reference datasets (e.g. DementiaBank, ADReSS) — not validated clinical performance of HugBrAIn.
Privacy & AI governance
Health data is handled as special-category data under the GDPR, with a privacy-by-design architecture, granular consent, encryption and full auditability. HugBrAIn is designed to align with the EU AI Act through transparency, human oversight and continuous risk management.

Decision support under clinician review
HugBrAIn is not a diagnostic device and does not replace clinical judgement. It is intended for clinical pilots and research use, under clinician oversight.
For research & pharma
Across modules, HugBrAIn builds a multimodal, longitudinal data layer. Built on open, interoperable standards, it can let clinicians compare a patient's data against their own baseline over time, and — under appropriate consent and governance — support real-world research.
For life-science partners, this can contribute to Real-World Data and Real-World Evidence programs. Details are shared with research and industry partners under NDA.
